Dimitri Grimm – “born” 1980 at the foot and in the shadow of a pretty large, pyramid-shaped mountain, is a recording artist releasing & performing under a variety of names, a.o. Dimlite, Dim Grimm and Misel Quitno. His music has been published by Sonar Kollektiv (DE), Now-Again/Stones Throw (US), Everest (CH) and through his own imprints to great critical acclaim, and he has performed live at concert venues and festivals across Europe and the UK aswell as in Russia, Japan and the USA and (as Dimlite) provided remix work for names like Mr. Chop, Deyampert, Sébastien Tellier, Merz, The Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus and others. From 2013 on – ten years after appearing as Dimlite – he put his teenage moniker to sleep and released several albums and EPs as Dim Grimm. Another ten years later, in 2023, a first album under his passport name Dimitri Grimm came out. He has also provided music for film under secret pseudonyms and is currently working on several records / collaborations due for this or next year.
